Hey everyone! My name is Erika, and I will be going on Semester at Sea's Summer 2009 Voyage!! I am finishing up my junior year at SUNY Oswego this semester, and am majoring in psychology. I'm from Albany, NY, and loveeeee traveling! This is my first attempt at writing and keeping a blog... so I will try my best!
The ship departs from Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 16th, although I board the ship on June 15th (for work-study). Today is the morning of May 1st, 2009, meaning our voyage is about 6 weeks away! I am so excited I can't even tell you! I remember applying last summer, and it seemed so far away. Time flew!
With it being so close, I feel as though I still have SOO much to do. I have been trying to plan trips for in the ports...but it's hard not knowing anyone else going on the voyage (Although my best friend will HOPEFULLY BE GOING!!... & the Facebook group def. helps too) In addition, there is soooo much to choose from, I just want to do everything! And today is the deadline to register for SAS presale trips, so I'll let you know what I sign up for! :-)
